ISTQB Quality in DevOps

DevOps has become an mainstream approach in modern software development, and quality assurance and testing is an integrated part of the DevOps approach.

The ISTQB® Quality in DevOps (CT-QDO) explains the testing and quality concepts that are necessary for working in development environment implementing DevOps. This course is accredited by UKITB and addresses the ISTQB Quality in DevOps syllabus.

The course includes exercises and practice exams to highlight key aspects of the syllabus and to help participants understand and practice the concepts and methods presented.

Course Objectives

To provide the knowledge and skills necessary to become an effective member a team implementing the DevOps approach. Explains the challenges of testing and quality on such projects and how to address them.

The course describes how quality engineering is implemented throughout all software development lifecycle phases.

People possessing an ISTQB Quality in DevOps Certificate may use the Certified Tester Quality in DevOps acronym: CT-QDO.

Prerequisites

Candidates for the ISTQB Quality in DevOps certificate must hold the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certificate (CTFL) v4.0 or above.

The Exam

The ISTQB Quality in DevOps exam comprises 40 multiple choice questions, with a pass mark grade of 65% to be completed within 60 minutes. Participants that take the exam not in their spoken language, will receive additional 25% more time (an additional 15 minutes) so a total of 75 minutes.
