Grove licensing provides the financial benefit of not having to develop and maintain courses, and reasonable licensing fees makes it work.

Licensing from Grove has been a win-win strategy for ALPI as it provides access to a broad portfolio of quality ISTQB courses that allows for a quick go-to-market strategy.

We were very satisfied with the Grove course materials that we licensed, a complete portfolio of slides, support, and handouts. Compared to our own effort, we appreciated how much work went into the Advanced course – that’s the best thing about the materials. Very much value for money.

Benefit of licensing Grove course material: Financial – I’ve written my own! It would take far longer to create the course myself, so I save both time and money. I wouldn’t do it if the materials weren’t so outstanding – a high bar of quality. Key points: quality and conciseness

(1/2) Our company runs software testing certification courses and at the time it didn’t make sense to create our own materials. We had licensed materials from elsewhere – they were ok, but we wanted to see if there was something better. Saw the Grove material which looked good. Initially it was only for the Foundation level, then Advanced came along later.

(2/2) In the beginning, it was really useful to have the Lecturer Notes. You have the slides and the student notes to tell you what the slide is about, but the lecturer notes tell you what you should you say about this and that picture, so it was helpful before you got more familiar with the material. We like the exercises – lots of them and good explanations and solutions, which is also something that the students like.

In 2002, I attended Grove’s ten-day ISEB Practitioner Certificate course and was so impressed with the quality, comprehensiveness and originality of the course content and exercises that I proceeded to licence their ISEB Foundation Certificate materials (the precursor to the ISTQB Foundation Level). More than twenty years later I licence many of their ISTQB courses, and in my view, Grove’s courses continue greatly to exceed the criteria set for ISTQB accreditation.

Very well prepared and well organised course materials, ready to use. Communication with Grove was fast and effective. Having materials prepared makes it much easier for us.
