Mark Fewster

Mark has 30 years of industrial experience in software testing ranging from test management to test techniques and test automation. In the last two decades Mark has provided consultancy and training in software testing, and has published papers and co-authored two books with Dorothy Graham, “Software Test Automation” and “Experiences of Test Automation”. He is a popular speaker at national and international conferences and seminars, and has won the Mercury BTO Innovation in Quality Award.

Mark has served on the committee of British Computer Society’s Specialist Interest Group in Software Testing (BCS SIGiST) and on the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB). He was a key developer of  the ISTQB®  Certified Tester – Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE) Syllabus.

In 2023, Mark was awarded the prestigious ISTQB International Software Testing Excellence Award for his service to software testing and quality over the years. More information here. https://awards.istqb.org
